Installing the high-performance CtrlOps control center on your local workstation
CtrlOps is a high-fidelity control hub that lives on your local machine, ensuring absolute privacy and ultra-low latency for your infrastructure management.
System Biometrics
To maintain peak performance for AI-driven diagnostics, we recommend the following local environment:
macOS (Universal)
- Version: macOS 12.0 (Monterey) or later.
- Architecture: Native support for Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3/M4) and Intel-based Macs.
Windows (Workstation)
- Version: Windows 10 (2004+) or Windows 11.
- Architecture: 64-bit systems (x64/ARM64).
Linux (Desktop)
- Distros: Ubuntu 22.04 LTS+, CentOS Stream 9+, Debian 11+, or Fedora 38+.
- Architecture: x86_64 or ARM64.
Moving to Production: Installation
The macOS Flow
- Execute Download:
- Open the image and drag CtrlOps to your Applications folder.
- Launch CtrlOps to begin the License Activation.
Security Note: If macOS flags the developer as unidentified, navigate to System Settings > Privacy & Security and select "Open Anyway" to trust the local hub.
The Windows Flow
- Execute Download:
- Follow the activation wizard to establish the local vault.
- Launch CtrlOps from your Start Menu.
The Linux Flow
- Execute Download:
- Open your terminal and run these commands:
sudo dpkg -i ctrlops.deb
sudo apt-get install -fThe "After-Launch" Blueprint
Once installed, CtrlOps initializes its local data structure in your system's application support directory (com.devopsflow).
- No Global Account: You aren't signing into a cloud service.
- License Activation: You are activating your local instance to enable Agentic capabilities.
- Data Sovereignty: Your connection list and SSH keys stay in your vault.
